Happy Friday ya’ll! I’m trying a new format for paid subscribers where I share 5 things for the senses I’ve experienced lately. It reminds me of the grounding practice where you name 5 things you can see, 4 things you can touch, 3 things you can hear, 2 things you can smell, 1 you can taste, etc. I’ve practiced this in therapy and I love it - for grounding but also just for gratitude! So without further ado, five things for the senses to take you into your weekend.

This excerpt from the NY Times article on Matilda Djerf struck a cord with me. It reminded me of how when you are an influencer, your following expects you to look a certain way and be this thing, i.e. she can’t cut her hair because it’s a signature part of her brand. I related hard.
