If you weren’t sick before or on Thanksgiving, there’s a good chance you’re sick now.
If you, like me, went home to see family, and multiple members had various degrees of sniffles and coughs, or if you were around children who, too, sniffled much, or if you have been running around lately and not resting nearly enough, then maybe you, too, are sick.
If so, I’ve put together a little list of how I “sick”.
Make some chicken broth and leave it simmering on the stove all day. Boil some bones if you have them to make your own, or if not, use bullion cubes or the boxed/canned kind. Cook your orzo or noodles of choice in them. Add carrots if you want. Eat and repeat.
Take a warm bath or shower upon waking to get the sick sweat off. Bonus points if you use eucalyptus epsom salt.
Drink ginger ale.
Watch really bad Christmas movies, or Harry Potter, or/and Sex Lives of College Girls.
Watch the latest episode of White Lotus season 2, and think to yourself, “This is the by gone best damn show that ever aired” AND PS…was that really Jack doing the deed with his Uncle? Who is going to die?
