Let yourself eat the candy. Creating boundaries and rules around it sets us up for a binge.

Let yourself eat the candy. Because life is hard and candy makes it better.

Let yourself eat the candy. The more you try to control it, the more power it has.

Let yourself eat the candy. Using candy, or any food, to help us deal with our emotions, is normal. We are human. We emotionally eat.

Let yourself eat the candy. Sugar addiction is not real.

Let yourself eat the candy. Sugar is not bad, our attitude around it is.

Let yourself eat the candy. Demonizing sugar is diet culture.

I keep candy in the house year round, but around this time each year, I love the Halloween-themed candy that comes out. Put my favorite candy in the shape of a pumpkin and *adds to cart*.

Candy, once something I swore off for years at a time, plays a much different role in my life now. During my wellness years, I told myself I didn’t “like” candy.
