Beurre de Barate is so good, it’s more like cheese than butter. I haven’t had it in a few moons because I moved away from my original stockist, Marlow and Daughters, but I need to get back!
That’s a really good way to put it! And weirdly it’s best served cold whereas other butter I like warmed / room temp. How did you eat it? I’ve just been doing fresh bread and a knob.. 🧈

Totally! Cold on bread is delicious and then just add anything on top — anchovy, fruit, tomato
